Avalon Renovables sponsor of the II National Conference on Renewable Ammonia, organized by the Spanish Renewable Ammonia Association (AEAR) Spanish Association of Renewable Ammonia AEAR in Madrid, a meeting that brought together more than two hundred professionals, companies, institutions and representatives of the public administration.
During the conference, the role of renewable ammonia as a key vector for industrial decarbonization and energy transition was analyzed, as well as the challenges and opportunities that will mark its deployment in the coming years.
Our colleague Sergio Garcia, Head of Public Financing at Avalon Renovables, introduced the block on the vision of the different sectors, in which the relevance of the maritime sector, the need for a stable regulatory framework and the importance of public-private collaboration to accelerate the development of projects were discussed.
In addition, Sergio Martínez ZarzaBusiness Development Director, highlighted during the sector round table the importance of understanding regulation as a facilitator to boost both production and demand, and underlined the need to strengthen self-consumption and reduce taxes and tolls to achieve competitive prices for renewable ammonia.
The meeting reflected a clear conclusion:
👉 Spain has the ideal conditions to become a European benchmark in the production, export and application of renewable ammonia, based on its renewable potential, its logistic capacity and the collaboration between all the agents of the sector.
