The H2 Valdepeñas Project is one of Avalon Renovables' strategic initiatives to drive the energy transition and decarbonization of the aviation sector in Spain.
Located in Valdepeñas (Ciudad Real), the project integrates on the same site renewable generation for the production of green hydrogen, biogenic CO2 production and green methanol production for its subsequent transformation, through the "Methanol to Jet" process, to e-SAF (sustainable aviation fuel).
In addition, we incorporated an organic waste digestion process for the production of biomethane, reinforcing the sustainable use of local resources.
