Founding Partner
Founder of Qohelet Solar in 2005, dedicated to the construction of solar and wind energy projects.
He also has extensive experience participating in the development of various renewable energy projects in Spain and Latin America.
Managing Partner & CEO
He was General Manager of Albasolar and Grupo Conergy in Spain, where he participated in countless projects. In 2008, he became CEO of Martifer Solar in Spain and Latin America, where he led the expansion of the group.
In 2013 he joined the ECOS Group as CEO of ECO SOLAR, leading investments in the continent and taking up residence in Panama.
After his return to Spain he joins EDP Renovables as Development Director for Europe and Brazil. Currently, he is CEO at Avalon Renovables.
Engineering and Construction
Rafael Lapique has more than 20 years of experience in energy projects and industrial plants, from the perspective of Property and EPC, with extensive knowledge of the actors involved in the sector.
He has extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
After 15 years working in different functions in TSK and Solaria, he joined Avalon Renovables as Director of the Construction Area of the company.
Permitting
Pedro Barros was technical director of the company CashLepe S.L. specialized in food retail distribution between 2010 and 2016.
In 2016 he joined Dosa Renovables as PM carrying a portfolio of more than 600 MW, of which more than 200 MW are currently under construction.
Since 2019, he has been part of the Avalon Renovables team, currently serving as the Director of Processing.
Business Development
Sergio Martínez has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector with a special focus on renewable energies; wind, solar photovoltaic, solar thermal and mini-hydro.
Prior to Avalon Renovables, Sergio held various positions related to sales, business development and commercial and strategic management at GES Ingeniería y Construcción.
He started his career in the energy sector at Siemens S.A., where he was responsible for the Strategy of the Energy Department, later he became Director of Sales and Business Development at Siemens for the "green portfolio" consisting of wind, solar photovoltaic and solar thermal.
Technical Management
Industrial Chemical Engineer with 25 years of experience in renewables, biomass, biofuels, solar, biomethane and H2.
Rosana has developed her professional career in companies of recognized prestige and pioneers in the renewable energy and green hydrogen sector such as CENER, Abengoa Bioenergy, Acciona Energy, TSK and Enagas.
Legal and Regulatory
Álvaro Franco has 20 years of experience as corporate counsel divided between international law firms and in-house counsel of different multinationals.
In the past, he has led the establishment of operational structures for the launching of businesses in the energy sector, providing comprehensive advice from project development to energy commercialization.
He also has proven experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, public bids, engineering contracts, EPC and complex international contract negotiations. He also has extensive experience leading the incorporation and launching of commercial operations in more than 20 subsidiaries in different countries in Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa.
Managing Partner
He was Director of Promotion and Director of International Business at Cobra Energía, where he led the group's international expansion in renewable energy.
In 2015 he joined Bow Power (joint venture of ACS and GIP) as CEO. In 2017 he joins Solarig group as CEO, leading the group's growth by 300% in two years in a sustainable way.
In 2020 he joins the Avalon Renovables group of companies as managing partner.
