The Huelva Bay Project promotes a cluster of green hydrogen and sustainable derivatives - green methanol, e-SAF (sustainable fuel for aviation) and bioplastics - that will consolidate Huelva as an energy and clean fuels hub for the decarbonization of the most demanding industries.
Avalon Renovables develops standardized and replicable solutions that integrate renewable energy generation, green hydrogen production and biogenic CO₂ capture through a biomass plant at the same site. In this way, PBH will generate its own critical biogenic CO₂ to obtain e-SAF through the "Methanol to Jet" process.
PBH will have the capacity to produce up to 67,000 tons/year of green methanol and 25,000 tons/year of e-SAF. In addition, the possibility of incorporating a 20,500 ton/year bioplastics production line is being evaluated.
