On June 4, we held the third public engagement meeting for the H2 Alperujo Martos project at Andaltec Technology Center (Martos). This initiative aims to transform byproducts from the olive oil industry into high-value resources for the energy transition, promoting a circular economy model based on the production of renewable biofuels.
During the event, we shared with neighborhood associations, social stakeholders, and representatives of civil society the main aspects of the project, its fit within the region, and the environmental, social, and economic benefits it can generate for Martos and its surrounding area.
The meeting allowed for an open and constructive dialogue, addressing questions, gathering input, and listening to attendees’ concerns, reaffirming our commitment to transparency, participation, and the creation of shared value.
H2 Alperujo Martos was created with the goal of offering a sustainable solution for the recovery of alperujo, contributing to the decarbonization of the industry, the creation of local jobs, and the strengthening of the economy linked to the olive sector.
We would like to thank all the individuals and organizations that participated in this session, as well as Andaltec for their collaboration and hospitality.
