Citizen Participation: A Forum on Economic, Educational, and Political Issues

Yesterday, we held another meeting at Andaltec Technology Center (Martos) as part of our citizen engagement plan for the H2 Alperujo Martos project.

It was a very enriching event where we shared details of the project—including its approach to waste management and energy recovery—as well as its impact on the region’s economic and social development with business leaders and representatives of political groups.

During the meeting, we addressed, among other topics:
🔹 Avalon Renovables’ vision and our commitment to the region.
🔹 The technical details of the H2 Alperujo Martos project.
🔹 A report on the potential of biomethane in Spain presented by José La Cal, CEO of BIOLIZA | Bioenergy Strategies.
🔹 An open forum for dialogue where we were able to hear questions, concerns, and proposals.

We would like to sincerely thank all attendees for their active participation, the interest shown, and the quality of their contributions. These types of dialogue forums are key to building solid projects with local relevance and shared purpose.

We continue to move forward in this process of listening and transparency with the following meetings already scheduled:

📅 May 21 – Meeting with oil mills, cooperatives, and the agricultural sector.
📅 June 4 – Meeting with social agents and neighborhood associations.

Our goal is clear: to explain, listen, and build together.
